The pharma manufacturing site is located at Jigani, 30 km from Bengaluru. Jigani hosts two manufacturing plants: Unit I, spread over 87,700 square meters, is US FDA approved for manufacturing cGMP intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Unit II is spread over 8,114 square meters.

Both sites are frequently audited by multinational innovator companies from the US, Europe, and Japan.

The sites are involved in manufacturing intermediates, advanced intermediates, and APIs for:

• Life cycle extension
• Contract / custom manufacturing
• Human and animal health
• New chemicals entities (intermediates)

The Panoli plant is located in Gujarat GIDC, 330 kms north of Mumbai. The plant is spread over 126,000 square meters. The site received US FDA accreditation in September 2012 and EU GMP in January 2014. Our facility is frequently audited by US and European innovator companies and approved for supply by innovator companies. It is involved in manufacturing cGMP intermediates, specialty chemicals, insecticides and intermediates.

Hikal acquired this manufacturing site from Novartis in 2000. The plant was commissioned by Sandoz, a subsidiary of Novartis, in 1987.
