This year in India, over 940 companies participated and only 100 were identified as Great Place to Work – CertifiedTM Organizations based on Trust Index through Online Survey, Validation and Culture Audit.
Hikal won the coveted Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’s 'Significant Achievement in HR Excellence' award at the CII National HR Excellence Award Confluence on March 13th, 2019. The recognition for CII HR Excellence Award, involves a stringent assessment process of various components of the HR Function in an Organization including Leadership, Learning and Development, Human Resource Strategy, People Well-being and Employee Engagement and HR Processes. The Award is a recognition of the best practices, programs and processes observed in the Human Resources Management and was conferred to Hikal after a rigorous assessment involving 250 to 300 man-hours, including a six-day assessment by a team of Senior Assessors from CII.
On February 18th, 2019, Hikal was conferred with the CSR Leadership Award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices by the World CSR Congress. Hikal was recognized for its comprehensive CSR Policy – Srijan, and its deployment across sites in the areas involving secondary education, skill development, employability and infrastructure development, healthcare, sanitation, environmental sustainability, ecological balance and protection of national heritage, art and culture. The selection criteria for this prestigious award was quite rigorous involving a four-tier evaluation with multiple companies applying for different categories of awards. The level 1 evaluation was done by an Academic Council of 3 members, followed by level 2 assessment by an Executive Council of 3 members from the CSR fraternity and senior leaders in the industry. Level 3 involved a presentation by Hikal in front of an eminent Jury. Level 4 assessment involved collation of results using OGPA (Overall Grade on Point Average) scale which finally enabled the committee to choose the most deserving winners.
The Global Employer Branding Institute and World HRD Congress has conferred Hikal with the ‘National Best Employer Brands 2018’ on February 16th, 2019. The National Best Employer Brand Awards 2018 features Top organizations from across India, who are exemplary in HR and have used marketing communications effectively for Human Resources Development. Some of the key criteria assessed were - Translating and Combining vision and action with HR Strategy, Building & collaborating with line to mesh HR Strategy with Business and Cultivating competencies for the future to enable building the organization to be future-ready.
World Federation of Marketing Professionals and World Federation of Human Resources Professionals in association with Business Television India presented the prestigious ‘Business Leader of the Year’ award to Hikal’s Joint Managing Director & CEO, Sameer Hiremath. This award was conferred to selected CEOs of organizations which won the National Best Employer Brands 2018, basis their orientation towards HR and the contribution made by the HR in business in their organizations.
Hikal won the most coveted ICC Award for Excellence in Human Resource Management in the Chemical Industry for the year 2016 on September 29th, 2017.
